With the new board renovations I'm sure all of you have new ideas as well so let's discuss them.
I have a map in the making, I was thinking about expanding the territory into four islands with the main island being where the rp takes place. When I finish with the map I'll present it to you guys and you can tell me what you think.

This is sort of the world map I've chosen and the bottom right island is the main island where everything takes place. The other three major islands are possible getaway places--an expansion of the world. This way the characters aren't so confined. I haven't picked any names for any of the areas except for the central location of the Doll corporations.

That's really interesting. I think in the past there was an idea about some dolls going haywire and rebelling against their masters/ or becoming more human to the point of believing they were human. Going with that maybe we can add something about a few dolls having attacked their masters which lead to a community of people against dolls. So one of the islands can be inhabited by people who are against dolls making them illegal on that island. That can have characters who've heard of these dolls like they're myths.

Yeah I think Jayme was supposed to plant a virus or something like that was supposed to happen and the dolls were to go loopy. Separating humans and dolls on the islands is an interesting idea as well as doll and human warfare. I was going to do a poll on the names of the Islands as well so that everyone would have an opportunity to come up with a name for an island then. I was thinking the main island would be the most industrialized where as the other three islands are underdeveloped. So if the humans were forced to take refuge on the island they'd have their work cut out for them.

Sounds good to me. They'd be like a community with no technology so they struggle more as they're less connected to the rest of the world.

Right, and some humans might be even more excluded from society than others if they smuggle their Dolls with them.

Perfect. Criminals would find it rather easy to hide out there since its hard to track people somewhere you can't use any electronic devices and such. Makes for some interesting ideas and possible plots.

and yep, Jayme was going to upload a virus. If you want, we can alwas say that hsi plans gone off without a hitch. I do like the idea of a island with limited technology as well. it would be hard for a doll to live there as they'd need a power sourse, unless they were solar. (a possiblity) and the map rocks much

Yeah that sounds like a good idea, right after we get reorganized and everyone who wants to play has their characters and we're all settled in. I also like the idea of non-solar powered Dolls not being able to survive very long on the island. It would be tough on Law and Sin unless they were using some sort of generator. That is should Law and Sin be in the right mind to tag along.

I have come up with four names for the major land masses on the map. If no one disagrees then we can make these the names the ones to use. I would love to hear of anyone's ideas if they have something else they like. Please share and we can put it to a vote, if not then I will go ahead and start labeling the land masses and I will create a World Board. Anyway here are the names I have chosen.
Isla de Zilveren: Is the name I picked for the main island in the south-east. This is also the island where most civilization resides.
Isla de Rosso Is the name I picked for the main island in the south-west.
Isla de Violeta Is the name I picked for the main island in the north-west.
Isla de Azul Is the name I picked for the main island in the north-east.
Heh, yes, you guessed it, each island is named for a color in different languages: Dutch, Italian, Portugese, and Spanish.

I think perhaps there could be a small island for "free" dolls. It could be called Coppelia (it's a ballet about a doll). But I oi like the names of the Islands as they are

I like that, too...I'm debating over which island that should be. On the one hand the southern most island looks like a small island unto itself, but it seems so far away from the industrialized world. I am not sure how well that the dolls would survive on the island without power unless they find a way to become self-sufficient. I was also thinking about the island just north-west of Isla de Zilveren it is separate from the mainland, but close enough for the dolls to get supplies if they need them.

I think they'd need to be somewhere that leaves it easier for them to get supplies. There could be a human on the main land for doll rights that supplies them. I'd volunteer my doll mechanic Zion for such a task, he thinks dolls are humans with less choices.
And on that note there can also be people who make secret trips to ransack the island and kidnap some of the free dolls.

Like Jayme. He'd be there to mess with the dolls as much as possible. It might also be an idea to add this to the profile page for characters.
"What do you think about dolls?" Some might think like Zion or Ken and beleive that they are human, some might be like Jayme and beleive they are a threat and a tool to be used.

Nice, nice, so the closest island to the main island will be Coppelia it would be easy for rebels to ship equipment back and forth to the island.

Sounds good. It'd be a nice addition to the human profile as it'd let people know what they were getting into if they were to play their doll character with someone's human character. As in the case of maybe some people don't want their doll treated with cruelty so they can go for someone who'd answer along the lines of Zion and Ken's opinion on the matter.

I have gone ahead and updated the profile section, also there has been a change in the doll model numbers. Instead of six digits it is now eight to coincide with the style of doll an individual wanted as mentioned. have a look and see if it needs anything.

Alrighty then. We're all going to have to update our character profiles a bit, Dolls especially and retire any of the unwanted characters. There's still a bit of organizing to be done, like the residency are. I'd like to split that up between the classes. We need to ad a section for the other islands too, but I think by the end of this week the board should be ready.
